Requirements

Key Responsibilities Lead the structural engineering design and implementation of complex hotel and resort infrastructure projects. Conduct comprehensive technical reviews of design calculations, structural analysis, and drawings to ensure compliance with local and international codes and standards. Ensure all technical deliverables meet quality, safety, and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle. Collaborate with architects, consultants, and project management teams to develop innovative, practical, cost-effective design solutions. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff. Prepare and present technical reports, studies, and solutions to clients, senior management, and project stakeholders. Participate in design review meetings, ensuring design integrity and alignment with project specifications and client expectations. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging engineering software and best practices. Identify and manage engineering risks, technical constraints, and legal considerations during design and implementation. Ensure health and safety considerations are integrated into all technical design decisions. Perform additional duties as required to support project goals and organisational priorities. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred). 5–7 years of relevant technical experience in structural engineering, preferably in the hospitality or resort sector. Active Professional Engineer (PE) certification (required). PMP certification or equivalent formal project management training is an advantage. Proficiency in CAD software, ETABS, Tekla, and SAP2000. Competence in Microsoft Office and document management tools. Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills. Proven leadership experience with the ability to mentor and develop junior team members. Excellent time management and decision-making capabilities, with the ability to handle multiple priorities independently.
